It was a pleasure to attend the Opening Ceremony of the 8th Annual Asialicious Carnival, organized by the Federation of Asian Canadians Toronto (FACT).
Asialicious is a wonderful celebration of the incredible diversity, heritage, traditions, food, music, and performances that Asian Canadian communities bring to Scarborough and to Ontario. Events like this remind us that multiculturalism is not simply about living alongside one another – it is about coming together, learning from one another, building friendships, and celebrating the many cultures that make our communities stronger.
I want to commend Benny Cheung and the entire FACT team for their continued leadership and dedication. The tremendous effort of the organizers, volunteers, performers, vendors, sponsors, and community partners is what makes this festival such a success year after year.
Congratulations to FACT on another successful Asialicious Carnival.
