To celebrate LTC Community Engagement Day, I was honoured to join the Shepherd Village Inc. and connect with their dedicated team, residents, caregivers, and community partners.
Thank you to the Shepherd Village team and the Ontario Long-Term Care Association (OLTCA) @OLTCAnews for bringing local leaders together to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing long-term care residents.
We heard about the importance of investing in aging infrastructure, expanding accessible senior housing and the Adult Day Centre, and creating more dementia-friendly environments through the Butterfly Model.
Our seniors deserve safe, compassionate, and dignified care. Our government will always stand by our seniors
