MPP Babikian Attends LTC Community Engagement Day at Tendercare Living Centre

It was a privilege to attend LTC Community Engagement Day at Tendercare Living Centre in Scarborough-Agincourt.

One of the highlights of my visit was meeting 105-year-old Ms. Fong Poon and her daughter, Ms. Keller Chan, who is a passionate and dedicated volunteer at Tendercare. Their warmth and spirit were truly inspiring.

We truly owe a deep debt of gratitude to our seniors who worked hard for decades to build our communities and shape our Provence.

That is why Premier Doug Ford’s government continues to work to expand long-term care capacity and train more doctors, nurses, and personal support workers, helping strengthen the services seniors rely on and making life in long-term care more comfortable.

I was glad to meet the new Executive Director, Lisa Romaniello, and thank her and the entire Tendercare team for their dedication and care for our seniors.

Kudos to the singer-entertainer who brought back memories of our seniors with his oldies.
