It was an honour to attend “The Children of the Holy Land – An Evening of Hope and Solidarity,” hosted by the Toronto Lieutenancy of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (EOHSJ) and the Knights and Dames of the Toronto Lieutenancy.
This was a deeply meaningful evening dedicated to an important cause: supporting the Holy Land Children’s Educational Endowment Fund and helping safeguard the future of children receiving their education through the 45 schools of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. These schools serve nearly 19,000 students and more than 1,700 educators.
It was a privilege to join His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo, Archbishop of Toronto, whose presence underscored the importance of standing with the Christian communities of the Holy Land. I also extend my appreciation to Musical Guest Robert Pilon for contributing his wonderful talent to this special evening.
May this important initiative continue to bring hope, opportunity and a brighter future to children, families, and educators.
