Honoured to attend the 3rd Inauguration Ceremony of the Fujian Hujiang Association of Canada and celebrate with members of the Fujianese community.
The Fujianese community has become an important part of Scarborough and Scarborough-Agincourt not only through its rich cultural heritage and strong community spirit, but also through its significant economic contributions.
In our community, many Fujianese families are entrepreneurs operating supermarkets, restaurants, kitchen cabinet manufacturing businesses, and other local enterprises.
They create jobs, serve our neighbourhoods, and contribute to Ontario’s economic strength.
Congratulations to the Fujian Hujiang Association of Canada and the new Board on another important milestone. I look forward to continuing to work with them and seeing their contributions grow in the years ahead.
