It was a great pleasure to join my colleague MPP Logan Kanapathi
Logan Kanapathi at MEGA BLAST 2026, a wonderful Tamil street festival celebrating the vibrant culture, traditions, food, music, and community spirit of the Tamil and broader South Asian communities in Scarborough.
Street festivals like MEGA BLAST bring people together in a truly special way. They give families, neighbours, local businesses, performers, and community organizations an opportunity to celebrate their heritage while sharing it with the wider community.
I am proud to see our community’s incredible diversity on full display. Our different cultures and traditions are an important part of what makes Scarborough and Ontario such welcoming and vibrant places to live.
My sincere congratulations and thanks to Tamil One TV
Tamil one Tv and SV Media, as well as all the organizers, volunteers, performers, vendors, and community partners who worked so hard to make MEGA BLAST 2026 a success.
