What a fantastic evening at Nathan Phillips Square for the opening of the 7th Toronto Dragon Festival!
It was wonderful to join so many families, community leaders, performers and friends to celebrate the beauty and richness of Chinese culture.
From the vibrant performances and traditional arts to the incredible energy of the crowd, the Festival truly showcased what makes Toronto such a diverse and welcoming city. Events like this give us an opportunity not only to celebrate heritage, but also to share it with neighbours from every background.
A big congratulations to the Canadian Association of Chinese Performing Arts (CACPA), and especially to the organizers, volunteers, performers and sponsors whose hard work brings this spectacular celebration to life each year.
