As always, it was a pleasure to attend the annual CNE Reception hosted by the National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada (NEPMCC) and to celebrate the opening of its booth at the 2026 Canadian National Exhibition.
The CNE is one of Canada’s great traditions, bringing together people from every corner of our country to celebrate our diverse cultures, heritage, and community spirit.
I am proud to recognize the important work of NEPMCC. Under the leadership of Mr. Thomas S. Saras, the ethnic media plays an essential role in giving voice to Canadians from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, keeping communities informed, strengthening civic engagement, and building greater understanding across our country.
Congratulations to NEPMCC and all its members on another successful CNE presence. Thank you for your continued leadership and service to Canada’s diverse communities.
