MPP Babikian Attends Dragon Boat Festival At Wishing Well Manor

Continuing the spirit of the Dragon Boat Festival, I had the pleasure of visiting Wishing Well Manor to share this special tradition with seniors in our community.

With generous support from the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto 大多倫多中華文化中心, we distributed rice dumplings to more than 100 residents, and I was pleased to co-sponsor fresh bananas as part of the celebration.

Rice dumplings are more than a festive treat, they represent care, connection, and the rich cultural traditions that bring people together. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on so many faces as residents received these gifts and celebrated the season.

Small acts of kindness can make a big difference, and together we are building a stronger, more caring community.
