It was pleasure to welcome Minister Raymond Cho to Scarborough-Agincourt to celebrate Seniors Month in Ontario.
During his visit, the Minister announced that Senior Persons Living Connected (SPLC) will receive $55,440 to continue delivering valuable programs and services that help local seniors stay engaged and connected.
Here in Scarborough-Agincourt, three SALC programs will receive a combined total of $166,918.
The announcement demonstrates our government’s commitment to ensuring seniors can remain active, healthy, independent, and connected to their communities.
Across Ontario, our government is investing $22.8 million in Seniors Active Living Centre (SALC) programs, supporting more than 400 programs that provide meaningful recreational, educational, wellness, and social opportunities for older adults.
